Substitution of counsel

The Somerset County Bar Association offers a Substitution of Counsel program to assist with court-assigned Madden matters. 

If you have received a Madden Assignment and are seeking to find a substitute attorney, please email somersetcountybar@gmail.com with all documentation received from the Court. Once an attorney within our network is identified who can accept the case, a letter will be sent directly to the Court confirming the reassignment.  

Please note: The attorney originally assigned to the case will still receive credit for handling the matter.  

Payment Information: Referral fees may be submitted online (link below), or via check payable to SCBA and mailed to:
